I would have loved something a lot larger because it looks a lost on the wall but everyone notices so I guess it is just fine. I get nothing but complements. I wanted to know the temperature because depending upon the temp influenced how much water my garden receives as well as some newly planted trees. The accuracy is there. Really good buy.great lookingGreat with my yard theme. I am a tad disappointed at the accuracy. I tempered it in the house after receiving it as it was hot and jostled during delivery. After a couple of hours, I took it outside, set in full sun. It took hours for it to move, and then it registered over 100 and we topped at 81 that day. I moved it to partial shade. Today, it is registering about 7° under accurate. Oh, well. At least it is pretty.Good to have outside to keep track of the temperature.Beautiful. 1st time it got wet it fogged up, but it was laying down.I got this for my grandmother. The numbers were large enough for her to see and she loves butterflies. Only thing is it states to adjust the temperature, but I recommend not for a while after getting it. Looks great on our camper!The thermometer we had window mounted failed this winter and broke when it fell so we were on the look out for something to replace. This fit the bill as we have a bit of butterfly decorations goin on in the garden and this fit very well. The numbers on the dial are readable from the kitchen window and it looks really nice mounted on the garden shed.Not very accurate and no way to adjust. There is a small knob behind the thermometer, but it doesn’t have a slot allowing it to be turned with a screwdriver. The knob behind the hydrometer does not align with the access hole, so cannot be reached and in any case also lacks a slot. Easy to read if you work in Fahrenheit but not so good in Celsius.Live in the UK and bought the Hummingbird.This model doesn’t have a Hygrometer. Customers must remember that weather reports record temps in the shade. If you put this product in full sun the temp will be 20/30* higher than if yo place it in the shade. Nice product with beautiful colours. If the temp isn’t right you can adjust it. To calibrate, bring indoors and place next to an indoor thermometer for 12 hours. If it’s not in sync then adjust with screw on the back.I luv the butterfly and it does look lovely in the wall however the dials have not moved and I am concerned that this is not working. I did see the trouble shooting hints about the copper coil possibly being damaged in transit but it is definitely not workingFound this a bit difficult to hang straight but fixed it with adding a nail to make it right. It certainly brightens up my garden fence. Also bought the butterfly for the conservatory which hangs a lot better. Wish the Celsius dial was the prominent one rather than Fahrenheit. Does the job though.
